This Summer the Beaufort County Arts Council and Beaufort County Community College are working together to offer visual and performance arts opportunities for all youth in Beaufort County. This includes week-long classes and workshops for youth to experience a variety of arts opportunities.

Let’s spend our first week of the summer arts program learning about the all-important connection between playwright and actor! Students will come together and write a short play to perform on the last day of Summer Camp, Friday June 28.

Participants will collaborate to create a story and learn how to take a writer’s words and turn them into on-stage performances. The Writing for Actors Summer Camp will also address improv, vocal projection, stage presence, and understanding direction.

Free to all Beaufort County Youth.
